This award-winning app was originally designed by a team of MACG-18 Marines and spouses. Working in collaboration, MCCS Okinawa took it from the original concept to the functioning product.
Being stationed in Okinawa, Japan has never been easier thanks to the MCCS Okinawa Liberty App! This application will not only help you plan your next on-island adventure, but it will also be your guide for completing a safe and enjoyable tour.
The MCCS Okinawa Liberty App provides:
*A list of popular establishments for shopping, eating, playing, and sightseeing available on Marine Corps bases as well as local establishments, beaches, parks, and markets.
*A safe guide for Marines that includes the liberty policy, a list of off-limit establishments, and special liberty information.
*A Phone directory containing important emergency numbers, on-base (unit) phone numbers, as well as an MCCS directory.
*Events Calendar including MCCS, Single Marine Program, and other local base events.
*Transportation information for on base and local traveling including Green Line, taxi, bus, and daiko access information.
